7th Air Force Patch
WWII Army Air Forces numbered Air Force patch measures approximately 3 inches. Fully embroidered sew on patch.
The Seventh Air Force (7th AF) was a combat air force of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, playing a key role in the Central Pacific campaign. Originally based in Hawaii at the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor, it helped defend the islands and rebuild American air strength in the Pacific after the initial Japanese strike. As the war progressed, Seventh Air Force supported Allied offensives across the Gilbert, Marshall, and Mariana Islands, conducting strategic bombing missions, close air support, and long-range strikes against Japanese positions. Operating heavy bombers, fighters, and reconnaissance aircraft from newly captured island bases, it contributed significantly to isolating and weakening Japanese strongholds as Allied forces advanced toward Japan.
