This detailed die-cast metal replica of the F-117 Nighthawk captures the revolutionary design of the world’s first operational stealth aircraft. Developed by Lockheed’s secretive Skunk Works division, the F-117 Nighthawk was designed around advanced stealth capabilities to evade radar detection. First flown in 1981 and entering operational service in 1983, the aircraft remained highly classified until its public reveal in 1988. Its unique faceted design allowed it to conduct precision strike missions while remaining nearly invisible to enemy defenses.

This model represents the final operational F-117, known as “Affectionately Christine.” First flown in May 1990, the aircraft saw combat during the Gulf War, completing 33 missions. Before its retirement in 2008 at Holloman Air Force Base, it was given a special “Stars and Stripes” paint scheme, making it one of the most memorable aircraft in the Nighthawk’s history.
